Store Name & URL Slug Guide

Your store name helps customers identify your shop. Here is how it works.

Store Name

When you register as a seller, your full name is used as the initial store name. You can change it anytime from your dashboard under Edit Profile.

Store URL (Slug)

A slug is the text that appears in your storefront URL. For example, if your store name is "John's Bakery", your store URL might be:

https://example.com/store/johns-bakery/

The slug is automatically generated from your store name by:

• Converting to lowercase
• Replacing spaces with hyphens
• Removing special characters

Uniqueness

Each store slug must be unique. If another seller already has the same slug, a number suffix is automatically appended (e.g., johns-bakery-2).

Tips for Choosing a Store Name

• Use a name that reflects what you sell.
• Keep it short and easy to remember.
• Avoid special characters or spaces if possible.
• Check that the name is not already taken.
